TruJoi Music
TruJoi Music is a performance music ministry that takes on the form most appropriate for the venue in which the performance is taking place. For example, at the Monterey Jazz Festival in September 2005, TruJoi is a 50-voice choir and a 5-piece band with various lead singers. At the Kuumbwa Jazz Center in Santa Cruz, CA, TruJoi was a 3-piece combo (piano, bass and drums), one lead singer (Valerie Joi) and another singer for duets (Ashling Cole).
TruJoi Music is available for ministry wherever Spirit opens the door... churches, clubs, festivals, etc. In addition, it is our desire that TruJoi work with various organizations to raise funds and awareness for important causes, while also insuring that the professional musicians collaborating with TruJoi are appropriately compensated.
TruJoi Statement of Intent
TruJoi Music is an expansive, multifaceted, diverse, multicultural music ministry that is spiritually, emotionally, and financially successful. Because of the spiritual quality of musical excellence that is its defining characteristic, it is in a class of its own. Through TruJoi, a new paradigm, a new model of music as ministry and co-ministry that expands the demand for music ministry around the world is disseminated. TruJoi meets the demand with a fresh new supply of musical partnerships, collaborations, and passion for the Divine beyond doctrine.
TruJoi is an experiential ministry, where there is laughter, exuberance, abundance, and interactive participation that is empowering and inspiring. It puts forth a sound, a vibrational pattern of music, that initiates a vortex of the permeating energy of love. TruJoi is a God-ordained ministry that births and facilitates the success of others and that continually realizes and recognizes the Win/Win of God. Through non-competitive, cooperative and collaborative performance, it brings forth a collective alignment that is pure light and transformation for everyone involved.
TruJoi is first and foremost a dynamic and productive state of being. It is true joy - a state of being that is centered in the Divine and thus, fortified. It is not based upon personality but grounded in the principles of the ever-present Reality. This Reality governs every action. The way is clear, every step of the way, one step at a time. As TruJoi, Spirit Almighty musically ministers in Grace and Ease.
